Brown County Browser: Election update

Absentee voting for the general election began on Friday, September 18, in Minnesota. Brown County will start sending out ballots to those who have already requested one, the week of October 5th. Mail ballot precincts will begin seeing their ballots beginning October 7th.

Want to avoid delays at your polling place? Make sure you are registered to vote today. If you have moved you need to update your voter registration as well. You can check your voter status and register in minutes at www.mnvotes.org.

Our office continues to receive multiple AB requests from voters. We understand that you may receive applications from a number of organizations, but only one request is necessary. Even though these mailings are not coming directly from our office they are valid but please do not submit a second application. To determine if you had already requested to Vote at Home go to our website at www.co.brown.mn.us/elections and click on the line to Track my Absentee or Mail ballot.
