Eulalie was born on Jan. 22, 1929 to Leo Sr. and Kathryn (May) Fox in Burnstown Township, Brown County. She graduated from Sanborn High School in Sanborn in 1947. She was united in marriage to Orvie Kircher on Sept. 11, 1954; this union was blessed with four children. She was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Eulalie was a dedicated member of St. Thomas and St. Joseph churches and an active member of the St. Thomas CCW.
Eulalie held most precious the time spent with her family. Holidays and special events were all focused on her kids and grandkids. She passed on her wonderful baking traditions to her children and grandchildren: the ice cream roll for the holidays, delicious breads, wild rice soup, sugar cookies, and countless other goodies. Not only did she care for her own children and grandchildren, she always welcomed new family members with open and loving arms. Her home was a place to gather, whether it be family watching the Watermelon Day parade, neighbors seeking her expert gardening advice, or just dropping by to pick up a fresh donut and say hello. Outside the house, you could always find Eulalie and Orvie maintaining their huge garden. She took extreme pride in her beautiful flowers. When not outside, she was an avid reader, taking all the books from her kids to read. In the community, she loved getting together with her friends to walk around Sanborn or share the latest news over a cup of coffee. She enjoyed making her regular trip to the casino to test her luck and usually walked away a winner. Eulalie will be remembered as a woman of love, fun, and kindness.
Eulalie will be lovingly remembered and survived by her husband, Orvie of Sanborn; her son, Doug (Jody) Kircher of Sanborn; daughter, Cathy (Virgil) Felt of Redwood Falls; daughter Lori (David) Miller of Sanborn; son Brad (Julie) Kircher of Sanborn; grandchildren: Amber, Dustin, Andrea, Michael, Samantha, Megan, Alex, Alison, Zachary; great-grandchildren: Elsa, Aubree, Easton, Ava, Baylor, Blaikely, Ellis. Sister; Anna Mae Norcutt and many nieces and nephews. Eulalie is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Christopher Miller, sister Iona, brothers Leander, Elmo, Ephraim, Otis, Leo Jr., Leroy and George.
