New Ulm Police • Received a report at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday of a vehicle tire slashed at Oakwood Estates sometimes in the past several days. Damage was estimated at $200. There are no suspects. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash reported at 11:03 a.m. July 2 at the intersection of North Garden Street and North Highland Avenue. A 2006 Freightliner was driven northbound on Garden Street by David Keith Gravely, 59, New Ulm, when it collided with a 2007 Nissan Murano driven westbound on North Highland by Brenda Jean Boline, 60, Watkins. The Nissan had severe, disabling damage to the rear passenger side and rear end. Damage was minor to the front end of the semi. Minnesota State Patrol • Responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 4 and Brown County Road 22, Stark Township at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday. A 2023 Ford Transit van driven by Tanar Dean Creech, 29, Belle Plaine, was eastbound on CR 22 when he collided with a 2022 Jeep Wrangler driven by Erika Georgina Castro Serrato, 45, St. James. Both drivers wore seat belts but were transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Airbags deployed in both vehicles. St. Peter officer wounded in shooting, returns home

ST. PETER – St. Peter Police Officer Austin Buss returned home to Le Center Friday after being released from the hospital after sustaining injuries is a shooting incident on Thursday, June 18. Officer Buss was shot in the left forearm with a shotgun after a routine traffic stop on Highway 169 led to a police chase and later an armed standoff at the 2100 block of Bunker Lane in St. Peter. New Ulm Police • Received a call at 7:02 a.m. Friday about a man yelling near a damaged vehicle near German Street and Fourth Street North. The man was gone when police arrived but he later came to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center in an intoxicated state with dried blood on his hands. The man was arrested for alleged criminal damage to property and motor vehicle tampering and transported to detox where he is being held for court. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
