New Ulm Police Department
• Emergency personnel from Sibley County, Winthrop, Gaylord, and State Patrol responded to a crash 12:35am Wednesday on State Highway 15 near County Road 33. A 20-year-old man from Iowa driving a White Kia Forte collided with a semi-truck driven by a 50-year-old Iowa man. No injuries occurred but both vehicles were left disabled from the sustained damages.

• Police received a call from New Ulm Medical Center 8:05pm Wednesday regarding a 33-year-old man from Mankato who had left the ER on foot. The man was on a hold ordered by Blue Earth County. He was located hiding in a porta potty at Harman Park and was escorted back to NUMC.
The next morning at 7:17am there was another call regarding the same man. Suspicious behavior of the man walking through a backyard on Oak Street was reported. Officers located the man who fled into a cornfield before being apprehended and returned to NUMC again.
