New Ulm Police
• Performed a welfare check on a 38-year-old Mankato woman at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday. The woman walked away from a residence. She was later found unharmed and returned to her residence by a family member. A report went to human services.
Brown County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a ATV rollover on 190th Street, east of 350th Avenue, about 5 miles east of Springfield at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday. Blaine Wilson, 22, Springfield, was driving a 2014 Kawasaki ATV following other ATVs, westbound on 190th Street, tried to negotiate a curve and was blinded by gravel dust, overturned and rolled several times. Wilson was transported by Springfield Ambulance to Sleepy Eye Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. A passenger, Dathan Sergeant, 21, Springfield, had non-life threatening injuries and went to Sleepy Eye Medical Center for evaluation. Assisting agencies were the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Ambulance and Springfield Police. The ATV was towed due to disabling damage.
Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:43 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of TH 5 and TH 19, Gaylord, Sibley County. A 2012 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Yesenia Rodriguez, 41, Gaylord, turned westbound onto TH 19 from a driveway in front of a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe driven eastbound on TH 19 by Jessica Ann Westra, 53, Henderson. Westra was transported to an Arlington hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Rodriguez was not injured. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Gaylord Police, Fire and Ambulance and the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
