New Ulm Police

• Responded to a theft report at 209 Pub & Grill, 209 North Minnesota St. reported the theft of a metal patio chair at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday. A 69-year-old New Ulm was identified on surveillance video as a suspect. He told police he thought the chair was abandoned. The establishment did not press charges after the man returned the chair.

• Arrested and transported a 23-year-old Lafayette male to the Brown County Jail at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday at 2nd St. South and Jefferson for driving after revocation and damaging a squad car. The suspect banged his head on the vehicle hood. A damage estimate was not available. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.
