New Ulm Police

• Received a driving complaint in the New Ulm High School parking lot at 11:50 a.m. Dec. 16. A 16-year-old student was reported to be driving erratically and a 16-year-old male student jumped on the vehicle hood. Nobody was hurt. No damage reported. A report for careless driving consideration was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Took a theft report from a residence at 720 Water St. S.W. at 11:24 a.m. Dec. 16. Stolen items reported to be a five gallon can of gas, cordless drill and a space heater was found by police at a nearby residence. All lost items were found. An 18-year-old Sleepy Eye male is a suspect, police said. A report for review was sent to the Sleepy Eye City Attorney’s Office.
