New Ulm Police
• Arrested a 28-year-old New Ulm man on a Brown County probation warrant. He was transported to jail without incident. A report was sent to probation.
Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highways 4 and 19, Fairfax at 9:35 a.m. Oct. 18. Harry E. Mccroy, 70, Appleton, Wi. was driving a 2018 Ford Ecosport southbound on Highway 4 when he collided with a 2001 Peterbilt tractor driven by Frank M. Yost, 48, Lafayette, who was westbound on Highway 19.
Mccroy was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital, Robbinsdale with life-threatening injuries. Mccroy wore a seat belt and airbags deployed. A passenger in the Ford, Georgia L. Mccroy, 65, Appleton, Wi. was transported to Carris Health-Redwood Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She wore a seat belt. Yost was not injured. Alcohol was not involved.
Assisting agencies were Fairfax Fire, Police and Ambulance, the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, CentraCare and North Air Care.
