New Ulm Police

• Responded a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at 3:49 p.m. Sept. 6 at U.S. Highway 14 and Garden St. N. Jeffrey K. Havemeier, 35, New Ulm, turned a 2005 Freightliner left onto Highway 14 from Garden Street, turning wide to clear the median when Dennis R. Larson, 69, New Ulm, proceeded into the inside lane driving a 1992 Jeep Grand Cherokee behind the semi. The vehicles collided during the turn. Damage was minor to the trailer unit and moderate to the passenger side of the Jeep.

• Responded to a report of many people drinking outside the Microtel Inn & Suites, 424 20th St. S. at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday. A 39-year-old Circle Pines man was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing legal process. He was transported to New Ulm detox. No injuries or damage reported. A report was sent to his probation agent.

• Responded to a vehicle vandalism report at 1002 N. Washington at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday. Several dents, possibly caused by paint balls, were reported. Damage was estimated at $500. A report was done for documentation.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a motorcycle-deer crash at 1:37 p.m. Aug. 30 on TH 22 near 336th St., about 6 miles south of Gaylord. Dustin Arredondo Jr., 24, Morton, was northbound when a deer ran in front of him, causing a collision, and drove into the east ditch. Arredondo wore a helmet. He was transported via ambulance to Mayo Mankato Hospital for injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash and assisted with Gaylord Fire and Ambulance.
