New Ulm Police

• Responded to a child custody dispute involving a 31-year-old New Ulm woman and 31-year-old North Dakota man at New Ulm Mobile Village, 2526 S. Bridge St., at 3 p.m. June 14. A parent went to pick up the child who was not at the residence. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a suspicious activity report at 3rd North and Minnesota streets at 1:04 a.m. June 15. An intoxicated 21-year-old New Ulm male was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center Detox Division for his own safety. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded at 2:09 p.m. June 15 to a report of a white 1996 Dodge Ram at apartments at 1404 S. German St. The truck was reported stolen by the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, who contacted the vehicle owner in Stewart. A report was done for documentation.

• Assisted Brown County Human Services with a welfare check on two juvenile males, ages 9 and 10, at 3:18 p.m. June 15 at 126 Jefferson St. S. The children were removed from the residence and placed on a 72-hour health and welfare hold.

• Received a report from a 46-year-old New Ulm man at 2:29 p.m. June 16 of officers entering his residence and harassing him. A report was done for documentation.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Arrested a 23-year-old Sleepy Eye man for domestic assault involving a 20-year-old Sleepy Eye woman at 2:42 p.m. at 544 Main St. E. A report was sent for charges.

• Received a theft report at 4:21 p.m. June 15 of a two-wheel dolly valued at $150 between 2:30 and 4:15 p.m. at 201 4th Ave. S.W. A report was done for documentation.

Sibley county Sheriff’s Office

• Responded at 5:13 p.m. June 15 to a crash on 261st Street near 200th Street. A horse trailer on a vehicle owned by Joshua A. Schultz, 48, was northbound on 261st Avenue when the hitch broke in half. The horse trailer entered the ditch and hit a power pole. Nobody was injured. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The Belle Plaine Fire Department assisted.
