New Ulm Police

• Arrested a 58-year-old New Ulm man without incident on a Renville County warrant at 11:37 a.m. Jan. 4, 2022. The man was transported to the Brown County Jail.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a third-party call about a school bus stop arm violation on CR 16, Burnstown Township at 4:54 p.m. Nobody was injured, no damage reported. The report is under investigation.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 14 at 3rd Avenue in Mankato at 9:20 a.m. Jan. 5, 2022. Zachary M. Lundstrom, 26, New Ulm, was driving a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria eastbound on Highway 14 on snow and ice when he spun out and hit a median wall. He was not injured. A passenger, Alicia B. Ann, 32, New Ulm, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato with non-life threatening injuries. Both people wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Mankato Police and Fire Departments and Mayo Ambulance assisted.
