New Ulm Police
A two vehicle accident occurred 10:41 a.m. Sunday at 15th South and Broadway. A 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo, driven by Joseph Fischer, 16, of Sleepy Eye, was traveling south on Broadway in the outside lane. Fischer activated his right turn signal to indicate a turn onto 15th South Street. A 2002 Mazda pickup, driven by Randal Nelson, 64, of Madelia was behind Fischer but did not see the signal in time to stop.
The Chevy sustained light rear-end damage, and the Mazda received moderate front end damage. No injuries were reported.
