New Ulm’s Own presented a $500 check to Brown County Human Services for use by the Foster Care program. These funds will supplement youth needs that are not met by government funding. Funds were raised from the sale of valentine cards produced by art students and teacher Dan Janke from New Ulm Public High School and matched by New Ulm’s Own. New Ulm’s Own’s mission is to support marginalized women and children locally and globally. As a volunteer organization selling fair trade merchandise from developing countries profits are shared with local charities that share in our mission.
