Minnesota State Patrol • Responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 14 and Brown County Road 10, Home Township at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday. A 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by Kayla Mae Christopherson, 27. Sleepy Eye, was eastbound on Highway 14 when it collided with a 2000 International tractor truck, driven southbound on CR 10 by Alexander James Krippner, 26, Hutchinson. A infant in the Jeep was transported to Sleepy Eye Medical Center. Both drivers wore seat belts and were not injured. Assisting agencies were the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Sleepy Eye Police, Fire and Ambulance.

Park and Rec receives update on master plan

NEW ULM — The New Ulm Park and Recreation Commission reviewed a 90% draft of the city’s 15-year Park and Recreation Master Plan during Monday’s meeting. Claire Roth, a planner with ISG, presented the draft. The plan has been in development since April 2025 and outlines recommendations for parks, facilities and open space.
