New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash report without injuries at 20th North and Spring Street at 5:12 p.m. July 5. Jaime N. Reinhart, 31, New Ulm, was driving a 2016 GMC Acadia eastbound on 20th North, turned left onto Spring Street, colliding with a westbound 2016 Jeep Cherokee driven by Steven W. Smith, 60, New Ulm. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. Both drivers wore seat belts.

• Responded to an assault report on the 800 block, Franklin St. s. at 2:26 p.m. July 5. A 30-year-old New Ulm man and vulnerable adult at a group home assaulted a 53-year-old New Ulm male employee. He declined medical attention. The vulnerable adult was transported to New Ulm Medical Center Emergency Department for evaluation. Reports were sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office and Brown County Human Services.

• Received a call about a naked child on the 700 block of North Broadway at 11:54 p.m. July 5. Police recognized a five-year-old girl and took her home. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.
