NEW ULM — The Wildflowers performed in the German Park amphitheater as part of the Monday night Music in the Park series.

The Wildflowers is a bluegrass and folk band featuring musicians Andrea Lyn, Sarah Frahm and Danielle Deopere. The band started its performance with a few folk songs, including “You Are My Sunshine” and “She’ll Be Coming Around the Mountain.”

Children in the audience were encouraged to dance during the show. The band provided the kids with miniature maracas to provide backup.

Before the musical performance, German Park hosted a show from the Park and Recreation Puppet Wagon. This was the first Puppet Wagon appearance of the 2022 season.

The Puppet Wagon will hold a show before each Monday Music in the Park event starting at 6:15 p.m.
