The Brown County Sheriff’s Office controls traffic at 5th Street East and Main Street in Sleepy Eye late Sunday afternoon. Two vehicles collided at the intersection. Non-life threatening injuries were reported. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Ramiro Rodriguez Cortez, 68, of Alamo, Texas, was driving a For F-150 eastbound on Highway 14 (Main Street) and Fidencio E Perez-Acosta of Mission, Texas was westbound on Highway 14 in a Mitsubishi Outlander. They collided at the intersection of Highway 14 and 5th Ave. N.E. Bother were taken to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
