Area veterans continued the annual tradition of laying a wreath on the Doughboy Statue in the New Ulm Cemetery.

George Glotzbach, Denny Warta, John Ingebritson and Al Gag saluted the memorial while Jon Gohre played taps.

The wreath will remain up through Flag Day.
