NEW ULM — The New Ulm HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Evolve) group is kicking off the 2020 year with a private event at The Retz 227 on Thursday, January 16 from 6-8 p.m., and will offer information about the organization, as well as sushi and desserts for attendees. There is no cost to attend, but registration is requested.

This event is for anyone who is interested in learning more about the HYPE organization, and what is planned for 2020. This includes employers as well as current and prospective members.

HYPE is a young professionals group designed to welcome and support new and current young professionals (ages 21-40) in the community. They do this by: Building relationships – HYPE members will have the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships with other young professionals in the New Ulm community; Gaining skills and knowledge – HYPE will invite a variety of speakers to present information on topics that are important to the group; Giving back to the community – HYPE will offer volunteer opportunities for members to give back to the community and contribute to the future growth and success of New Ulm.

A yearly HYPE Membership is $48, but the early bird rate of $40 is offered through Friday, Jan. 17.
