LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette Area Lions Club will host its annual Hog/Corn Roast Saturday, August 24, at the Lafayette Fire Hall. Proceeds from the event go towards community projects.

The event includes a pork chop/sweet corn meal, served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., along with musical entertainment by local musicians. The Lafayette Band will present its final concert of the season at 6:30 p.m.

The third annual Lions bean bag tournament will also be held. Sign-up will be from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Dave’s Place, with the tournament starting at 3:00 p.m.

The evening will conclude with the Lafayette Fire Department Relief Association’s Street Dance with music by the Lake Effect, from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

All events will be held the Lafayette Fire Station.
