Lafayette Lions recognize poster contest winners

LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette Area Lions Club recognized the winners of the Lions Peace Poster contest at Lafeyette Charter School on Thursday, Nov. 7..

The students created posters for the annual Lions Peace Poster Contest.

Contest winners were Olivia Krajewski of rural New Ulm, daughter of Chuck and Joni Guggisberg, first place; and Rachel Lund of Lafayette, daughter of Phillip Lund and Amanda Casper, second place. They received cash prizes of $25 and $15, respectively. Olivia is an eighth grader, Rachel a sixth grader. Olivia’s poster has been sent to the district where it will compete for additional honors.
