Airport engineering services for crosswind project approved

NEW ULM - The New Ulm City Council approved $245,448 task order to the city’s professional service contract with Mead & Hunt for further airport engineering services. The task order covers construction administrative services for the construction of the turf crosswind runway at the airport. The city previously approved an airport capital improvement plan that included the new crosswind runway. 209 Pub & Grill secures noise variance for fundraiser

NEW ULM - The New Ulm City Council approved a noise variance on Tuesday for a fundraising event hosted by 209 Pub & Grill. The variance would allow 209 Pub & Grill to have amplified music from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, on Minnesota Street between 2nd and 3rd N. Street during the fundraiser. Minnesota Street between 2nd and 3rd N. Street will be closed during the event, with a stage located near 3rd N. Street.
