Sibley County Sheriff

• Around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, a one-vehicle rollover was reported to the Sibley Co. Sheriff’s Office. Daniel Guinn, 35, was eastbound on Co. Rd. 8 about 7 miles north of Gaylord when his 2010 GMC truck rolled. The one passenger, Michael Grames, 45, was trapped and had to be extricated by the Gaylord Fire Department. Afterward, Grames was transported to RSMC in Arlington by the Gaylord Ambulance. The accident is under further investigation.

• Patrick Moses Jr., 26, fled a sentence to service crew working at Clear Lake County Park south of Gibbon around 1:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14. He was serving a sentence for probation violation in Sibley Co. Jail. Moses was found after a 4-1/2 search on Co. Rd. 2, several miles from teh park. He was taken into custody and is expected to be charged with Escape from Custody. Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota DNR and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter assisted the Sibley Sheriff’s Office in the search.
