Anderson resigns as New Ulm Eagles head baseball coach

NEW ULM — Mike Anderson, who has been the head baseball coach at New Ulm High School for the past two seasons, resigned from that position Friday. Anderson said that his resignation was 100 percent work-related. “I got thrown a curveball by my work and my area requires more travel and it would be impossible for me to get back for games and practices,” he said. “I feel really good about my time here — I feel that I am leaving the program in a better place than I found it.
