ST. PETER — New Ulm Junior Legion Gold coasted to a 12-2 win over St. Peter on Wednesday in junior legion baseball action.

Grant Bruns got the win for New Ulm in three innings of work, giving up one hit and one run. Zach Paszkiewicz pitched the last two innings in relief and gave up two hits and a run while fanning three.

At the plate, Taylor Hansen led New Ulm with a 3-for-4 day, three RBIs and three runs scored. Bruns went 2 for 2 with three runs scored and two stolen bases also, while Levi Franta had a double and an RBI.

New Ulm hosts St. Peter at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
