Noah Wilmes lasted just 1 2/3 innings in the loss for Cathedral. He gave up seven runs on three hits. He struck out one.

The Rabbits struck quickly and scored the first two runs of the game in the top of the first. Colby Wall scored on Will Carlson’s RBI single and Carlson later scored on a passed ball.

Cathedral got a single run back in the first before the Rabbits took advantage of some Cathedral defensive miscues and free passes. Wabasso scored five times in the second inning, ending Wilmes’ stint on the mound.

Cathedral managed to score a pair of runs in the second after Riley Prochniak and Justin Berg both came across the plate to make it 7-3.
