MANKATO — Sleepy Eye defeated Chanhassen 5-2 at the Mulvihill Invitational on Saturday at Franklin Rogers Park.

For Sleepy Eye, Luke Mielke threw a one-hitter to earn the win. He struck out three and walked three.

Zach Haala was 3 for 3 with two RBIs and Paco Elisiro was 2 for 2. Kyle Domeier was 2 for 4 and Nathan Walter had a double.

Sleepy Eye (8-4) plays Lino Lakes at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday at Wolverton Field for fifth place.
