• Fink scored a school-record 43 points in a victory against Redwood Valley last Monday. He also grabbed 21 rebounds in the contest.

• He scored 41 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a blowout victory over Sleepy Eye on Tuesday.

Fink is off to a fast start again, averaging 30.1 points per game for the Tigers (9-2). He scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a loss to Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Friday. He averaged 35.7 points and 13.3 rebounds over the week. But Monday’s performance against Redwood Valley stood out because the Tigers have had problems with the Cardinals in the past.

“We’ve always had trouble with beating Redwood and we knew it was going to be a big week coming in,” Fink said. “We were hoping we’d get three wins, but we learned from that loss and MVL played a great game.”
