LAKE CRYSTAL — Springfield advanced to the Section 2A, South Subsection finals with a 59-51 victory over Nicollet on Friday at Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial High School.

Sydney Hauger led Springfield with 26 points and Cassandra Graff had nine points.

For Nicollet, Grace Dehen had 22 points and Sarah Haugum finished with 14 points.

Springfield (12-16) plays St. Clair at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday at Gustavus Adolphus College for the right to go to the section championship.
