MANKATO — The New Ulm girls’ tennis team competed at the Mankato Round Robin Tournament on Thursday.

New Ulm’s Abby Hietala was 2-2 at No. 3 singles and took first place. Emma Maudal was 0-4 at No. 1 singles and Sara Guymon was 1-3 at No. 2 singles. Kaila Brudelie was 0-4 at No. 4 singles.

At first doubles, Abbey Frauenholtz and Jane Arnoldt went 2-2 and Shelby Haseman and Breanna Widmer went 1-3 at No. 2 doubles. Kellyn Emerson and Hannah Blumhoefer were 2-2 at No. 3 doubles.

“I’m so very proud of these girls, they worked so hard today,” head coach Dan Horsmon said.
