MILROY — Wabasso knocked off Lac qui Parle Valley 6-2 in the Section 3A consolation finals on Tuesday at Milroy.

Devan Liebl got the win for the Rabbits (17-7), having given up two earned runs on six hits.

Ty Kemp went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, while Kyle Jacobson had a two-run triple in the first inning. Liebl was 2 for 3 with one RBI.

Wabasso will play Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove for the Section 3A finals. Wabasso must win twice in order to advance to state.
