BUFFALO LAKE — New Ulm placed first overall during Day 1 of the Section 3AA boys’ golf meet with a score of 315 on Thursday at Oakdale Golf Course.

Glavine Schugel of New Ulm was the medalist carding a 2-under 70, including a 2-under 34 on the back 9. Aiden Guggisberg shot a 79, Matt Janke scored an 82 and Alex Glowacki had an 84 to round out the Eagles’ scoring.

New Ulm advances with four other teams to the second day of the meet on Tuesday.
