Dear Congressman, Finstad: Stop Ukraine funding until all past funding accounted for

To the editor: Under no circumstances should the United States continue to support the Ukraine until such time as all funding is traced and accounted for — this includes Bio Labs, kickbacks to U.S. lawmakers and (Ukraine President Volodymyr) Zelensky interests that are far outside the perimeters of Americans who earned this money and have been betrayed by our Government. We appreciate the redirection that Mike Johnson is taking the country but at the same time America demands answers. Sanity no longer exists in America

To the editor: All three branches of our government are so corrupt and totally uncaring about our own people. We are just a number to provide the monies for the Feds to throw away to the dictators, then making ridiculous deals with them to endure our national security. To the editor: Three weeks ago, Chris Loetscher looked askance at Curt Dahlin’s title of “Independent historian.” Within the academic community, such writers often merit high esteem. The late Alan Woolworth, an eclectic academic, thoroughly researched the Dakota people and personally returned Little Crow’s remains to them. As I recall, at the 2011 Northern Great Plains History Conference, his name tag said independent scholar. A response to Republicans and abortion issue

To the editor: This is a response to the editorial “Republicans can’t do anything about the abortion issue.” The editorial begins, “Republicans don’t know how to “talk about abortion.” I beg to differ that republicans don’t know how to talk about abortion. We just talk about it differently than the left and for different reasons. They use the words abortion rights or reproductive rights. Why? Because for them the issue is “right” driven. Anti-fossil fuel folks will boost climate warming

To the editor: In regard to the to the article by Randy Krzmarzick in the Nov. 4-5, 2023, New Ulm Journal, I feel a rebuttal is needed. I attended the event. My earliest ancestor a French-Canadian, came to this area of Minnesota 200 years ago as an aide to the fur trade.
