To the editor: I would like to thank Curtis Dahlin for his letter to the editor; hopefully it will open a few eyes to what is happening to our history. I would like to go one step further and ask, ‘What is happening to Fort Ridgely or should I say not happening?’ Fort Ridgely was a United States Army Post used to train union soldiers to fight in the Civil War. To the editor: Let me see a show of hands of those in Minnesota that requested a Change in the Design of the Minnesota state flag? Thought so. Your state representatives have decided that our flag needed to be “redesigned” because somehow, someone may find it offensive. Solve abortion before other world problems

To the editor: Its been 51 years since Roe v Wade, and I am still amazed at the blasé / ‘apathetic attitude’ our society places on this carnage. There are probably several reasons for this attitude; primary of course is that we don’t take God seriously. Another would be that we don’t actually watch an actual abortion. To the editor: In response: Ready for change? (Feb. 6) Thank you for, again, another passionate opinion. I find it interesting that you expect all cultures to conform to "naturally assimilate into the culture of that area" because "'we are' ready for that kind of change."
