Southern border and disobedience
To the editor:
This federal government which is not enforcing the law at the southern border of the United States is letting down the rights of its citizens. The government is to and has been established to secure the rights of its citizens. This duty is to protect the citizens against foreign and domestic threats and to enforce the law.
Open borders do not serve and protect the citizens of the United States and they are a threat to all of us if the security of borders is let go into the wind. So many things can cause citizens rights and security to slowly or swiftly blow away and can be hard to retrieve. I call on those in the White House in Washington to get off the wrong train to nowhere and start heading to America First and Foremost. Those who want to become citizens are many and we allow citizenship by enforcing our laws of immigration and not simply ignore those laws for whatever reason as it takes away the rights and security of citizenship.
Protection from the mayhem in our country from those who unpeacefully protest, target others and burn down our country and pull down our history is needed from that train to nowhere. In some cities this protection is lacking and letting those who are not at the opinion of the best for this country and do not care one nickel about their fellow neighbors welfare and have no respect for those in authority is left to run unchecked and allows them to act without any deterence. Can we offer those a one way ticket to any nation other than the United States of America since they have no love for this country? Love it or leave it and ignorance of the law is not an excuse comes to mind. We are on a train to uncertainty and rule by the mob mentality fueled by a controlled corrupt media. My hope is that train just somehow runs out of fuel.
I ask the government of this great nation get rid of corruption, spend no time bickering and wasting money with all the investigations at every turn of the monthly calendar. Instead, focus on the issues and put our best people to work and actually solve them. Lets mend and negotiate our differences for the good of all citizens not the passions of the factions but for those who consent to the greater good of the people. Until then we are divided but I hope we can mend in the middle. Our vote when the time comes can make improvements for our future.
