Somsen Slough
To the editor:
A few weeks ago the Somsen slough was full of ducks, geese and other waterfowl. It was nice to see them, as nesting time was soon to be. However, someone with no regard to waterfowl or nature drained down the slough! Where is your common sense? I head it was so more plants could grow around it. Have you seen it? There are no ducks or geese, and it’s nothing but mud. Whoever did this, SHAME ON YOU! I hope you can put the water back. You ruined a good spot for the birds who weren’t hurting anyone.
