Our Country

To the editor:

The US has the Constitution and Bill of Rights to reflect upon and show us the freedoms we have and to be our base and guide. The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag is also a special piece of our country and our loyalty to it as a patriotic reminder of what we stand for. I served this great country in the military and have always held pride and high esteem for the land of the free as do all veterans. We are one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. I just love those words that we say in the Pledge of Allegiance. Citizens of every nationality in the US please don’t take our freedoms for granted, ever. They are a treasure that have been held safe by many who willingly gave their all and all gave some. We are not perfect and never will be. There is only One who is perfect. Why not support our free country in its time of need, not burn it down? Liberty and justice are two beautiful words. Indivisible is strength whereas division is how we fall apart. Let’s do what is best for our country and our families future, not what we see happening as respect for authority and responsibility for individual actions have gone down the slippery slope. Can we not be without our common sense about us? Hold on to our freedoms and stand for our liberty and justice for all as we move ahead as one nation under God. Remember it is for all of us. God Bless America Again!

I believe those who have control of the drive by media and are the enemies of our current President are actually afraid of him as they say. Why? I believe they know he is doing great for our country and he is in the house that they want. They lie and find fault in everything our President does and the media covers only what supports those lies. Have you ever heard any praise or good job Mr. President from them, ever? How about we’re sorry we put you through that investigation and found no fault. Hey, it’s a hard job to please everyone all the time but sometime it would be nice to show support and respect to the office of the president and to others. The outrage is dividing our country and that is playing into the hands of those who want control. The media tends to support the lies and not the truth and the good things that this administration has done. Be careful in the swamp, it’s pretty muddy.
