Reynold Christensen

Reynold Christensen, 71, of rural Sleepy Eye, died July 26 at his home in Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye and will continue Saturday for an hour prior to the service at the church. A funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. Interment will be at the Brookville-Dannebod Cemetery in rural Sleepy Eye, with military rites by the Sleepy Eye Honor Guard. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home (sturmfh.com) in Sleepy Eye.

Gerald “Gerry” Patten, 74, of Redwood Falls, died July 21 at St. Cloud Hospital. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at First Presbyterian Church. Arlene Carter was born on August 3, 1929, to Dennis and Edith (Hagerman) Amsden in Cottonwood County. On June 29, 1948, Arlene was united in marriage to Donald Carter. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Olson of Comfrey.
