Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Lake Crystal Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lake Crystal with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Rosemary was born March 28, 1927, in St. James to Robert and Clementine (Freking) Berg. She was raised in St. James and graduated from St. James High School. Rosemary was united in marriage to John B. Quiring on Feb. 17, 1947, in St. James, and they were blessed with eight children. They lived on a hobby farm near Butternut. She was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, vegetable gardening, canning, reading, and spending time with family.

Rosemary is survived by her children, Kathy (Ray) Helder of Lake Crystal, Judith Gerdes of New Ulm, Mary (Dan) Gilman of Lake Crystal, Michael Quiring of Two Harbors, Nancy (Dan) Braam of New Ulm, and Angela (Jim) Grant of Fountain; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Berg; sister-in-law, Dorothy Quiring; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, John; son, David Quiring; daughter, Patricia Bathke; daughter-in-law, Michelle “Shelley” Quiring; granddaughter, Cassie Gerdes; and siblings, Donald Berg and Delores (Kenneth) Hill.
