Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In support of Ervin’s love for the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings, the family would like it if you wore Twins or Vikings clothing or their colors. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Ervin was born on May 29, 1930, in Searles, Minnesota, to John and Mary (Schmidt) Stueber. Ervin served in the United States Army from 1953-55. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. On Aug. 4, 1958, Ervin was united in marriage to Darlene Milbrett in Searles. Ervin worked for Kato Engineering for more than 40 years. After retirement, he worked at Hy-Vee. Ervin enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a love for the outdoors. Ervin liked to stay busy and could always be seen with a smile on his face. He loved people and cared about everyone. He was a member of American Legion Post 510 in Nicollet.

Ervin is survived by three children, Lori Stueber of North Dakota, Mike (Shannon) Stueber of North Dakota and Shari (John) Wilmes of Mankato; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Harlan (Lucy) Stueber; sisters-in-law, Arlys Stueber and June Milbrett; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene; and brothers and sisters.
