Ronald John Baumann was born April 1, 1953 in New Ulm to Henry and Bernice (Drexler) Baumann. He attended New Ulm Schools and graduated in 1972. Ron served in the Minnesota Army National Guard and was employed at Iverson Manufacturing and also helped on the Baumann family farm. He moved to the Mankato area working for farmers and also had a tree trimming service until failing health forced him into early retirement. Ron had strong faith, great work ethic and was very independent. He enjoyed holiday gatherings at the family farm and spending time with his special friend Becky at fairs and farm shows.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial to the donor’s choice.
The family would also like to thank the employees at Spyglass for the wonderful care they gave to Ron.
