New Ulm Police • Received a call at 7:02 a.m. Friday about a man yelling near a damaged vehicle near German Street and Fourth Street North. The man was gone when police arrived but he later came to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center in an intoxicated state with dried blood on his hands. The man was arrested for alleged criminal damage to property and motor vehicle tampering and transported to detox where he is being held for court. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police • Responded to an underage party report on the 900 block, Franklin Street South at 12:34 a.m. Saturday. Officers located many juveniles near a backyard campfire. Underage alcohol citations were issued to 17 and 15-year-old New Ulm boys. School notification letters were sent plus a report to the Brown County Attorney’s Office. • Stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at near Valley Street and 12th Street North at 1:42 p.m. Saturday. A 40-year-old New Ulm man was cited for driving after revocation and given a verbal warning for an open cannabis package in a ...

A 50-year-old New Ulm man was arrested for third-degree DWI and transported to the Brown County Jail. A report was done for documentation. • Stopped a vehicle for speeding on the K.C. Road and Highland Ave. North at 11:23 p.m. Thursday. Police and Menard’s made numerous attempts to contact the suspects, a 41-year-old Minneapolis man and 49-year-old Lucerne, Ca. Man. The loss including late fees for the two items is $10,028. A report went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office for felony theft charges. • Stopped a vehicle for traveling in the wrong traffic lane at 20th St. South and Spring St. at 11:09 p.m. Friday. Cash was reported missing. Neighbors reported seeing a newer silver Jeep and man approaching the residence. A report went to investigators. • Stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity at 1:31 a.m. Saturday on the 1200 block Franklin Street North.
