An individual bitten in the pointer finger by a miniature schnauzer was transported to the New Ulm Medical Center for minor injury treatment. The dog’s vaccinations were up to date. New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash with minor injuries at 1:43 p.m. Monday on the 500 block of 7th North Street. A 2014 Chevy Impala driven by Sharon Elizabeth Fitterer, 74, New Ulm, was in front of a 2012 Ford Expedition driven by Jack Christopher Griebel, 17, New Ulm northbound on 7th North. Fitterer slowed to turn right into the Express Lane station and was struck in the rear by Griebel. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. The Ford was towed. Fitterer had minor injuries. The woman declined and took a photo of the man’s vehicle license plate as he drove away. A 20-year-old St. James man admitted to police he offered cash to the woman in exchange for sex.
