•Police responded to report of suspicious activity 3:15 p.m. Monday to Wal-Mart for a report of a female that was smoking in the store and harassing both customers and employees. The 48-year-old Detroit Lakes women was issued a trespass notice and was escorted out the store by Officers. Report sent to Human Services.
•Police spoke with an 80-year-old New Ulm women Tuesday, who stated she was scammed out of $23,000. The women open an email that was alerting her to her apple pay account being charged for a porn site in China. She clicked a link in the email in which she thought was a link associated with her local bank. She was instructed to wire $23,000 to a bank in Wells Fargo, which she did.
