•Police stopped a vehicle at 12:57 a.m. Saturday at 9th N. and Franklin for suspicious activity. The driver, a 44-year-old New Ulm man, did not posses a valid drivers license. He was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. Report sent to the City Attorney for the consideration of Driving without a valid license (Cancelled Inimical to Public Safety).
•Police stoped vehicle at 4:39 p.m. Saturday on 19thst St N. and Minnesota St. for an equipment violation. A strong odor of marijuana was detected coming from within the vehicle. Signs of impairment were notice from the driver, a 45-year-old Gibbon man. A urine sample was obtained at NUMC. Once the results are learned, a copy of the report will be sent to the City Attorney for the consideration of DWI charges.
Officers were called to detox at 1:23 a.m. Sunday for an uncooperative male. Officers met with a 19-year-old Fairmont man who needed to be physically placed into an isolation room. He made threatening comments to the officers.

He was arrested and brought to NUMC. A blood sample was obtained. Once the results are learned, a copy of the report will be sent to the City Attorney for the consideration of DWI charges.
•Police responded to a disturbance call at 10:18 p.m. on S. Jefferson. One of the individuals involved, a 63-year-old New Ulm man, admitted to driving prior to officers' arrival. Signs of impairment were detected. He was placed under arrest and transported to NUMC. A urine sample was obtained. Once the results are learned, a copy of the report will be sent to the City Attorney for the consideration of DWI charges.
