Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a report of a vehicle swerving all over the road near TH 68 and 110th Avenue, Cottonwood Township at 11:41 p.m. June 10. A 23-year-old Wells man was arrested for DWI and taken to jail after a vehicle was found in the ditch. He was not injured. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police

• Received a domestic call at 105 S. Valley at 7:04 p.m. June 11. A 14-year-old New Ulm boy was reported to have punched his mother and brother. No injuries were reported. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services.

• Received a criminal damage to property report at the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division, 510 N. Front at 9:11 a.m. June 12. A 23-year-old New Ulm man was reported to have destroyed an electrical outlet. Damage was estimated at $157. A report for charge consideration was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a report of a contractor dumping drywall dumped into the city sewer system at 208 S. Front St. at 9:16 a.m. June 12. The New Ulm Street Department was contacted. The contractor agreed to clean it up. Police said no charges are sought.

• Stopped a vehicle at 11:53 p.m. June 11 at Broadway and 19th Street South at 12:06 a.m. June 11. An 18-year-old New Ulm male was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle and drug paraphernalia possession.
