Sheriff’s Office

• Received a report of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) partially submerged near the Beussman Bridge, Milford Township, at 4:27 p.m. March 25. The ATV owner was located and will remove it from the water. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a welfare check request at 15 Broadway, Hanska at 2:54 a.m. March 26. A 27-year-old North Mankato man was found wandering nearby, not wearing proper winter clothing and very intoxicated. He was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division. A report was done for documentation.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle at Broadway and 15th Street South at 11 p.m. March 24 and arrested a 30-year-old Sleepy Eye man for controlled substance possession. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Stopped a vehicle at Minnesota Street and 9th Street North at

10:48 p.m. March 25. A 38-year old New Ulm man was found to have a small amount of marijuana but he was not charged. A report was done for documentation.

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 15-year-old New Ulm male who was found to have marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession at Jefferson Street North and 6th Street North at 10:57 p.m. March 25. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
