Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Arrested a 33-year-old man in North Star Township on a Meeker County warrant for 911 call interference after receiving information at 6:03 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Morristown male at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4 at CR 24 and 120th Avenue, Cottonwood Township. A report with possible charges of minor consumption while driving and minor consumption by another 19-year-old were sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a disturbance call at 10:27 a.m. Sept. 3 near 205th Avenue and Highway 14, Milford Township regarding a 32-year-old individual with mental issues who was transported to New Ulm Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

New Ulm Police

• Received a theft report from a 75-year-old Sleepy Eye man at 3:33 p.m. Sept. 3 who said he left a wallet in a Walmart rest room, later returned and found it missing $180. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a theft report at 9:13 p.m. Sept. 3 at Walmart. Video surveillance showed a 28-year-old Eagan woman and 25-year-old St. Peter man with $511 worth of merchandise. Police said the suspects left the scene, police later talked to them but the merchandise was not recovered. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a theft report of a trailer at 911 5th St. S. at 2:21p.m. Sept. 3. The trailer, valued at $600 – $700, was reported taken sometime between Thursday and Saturday.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report at 8:49 p.m. Friday at 2025 S. Broadway, New Ulm Smoke Shop parking lot. A parked, unattended 2017 Ford was backed into by another vehicle, described as a red and gray, two-door Chevy with topper the left the scene, heading north on Broadway. Damage was moderate to the left rear end of the Ford and unknown to the Chevy.
