Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a scam/fraud report at 9:34 p.m. June 16 at 15905 CR 5, Bashaw Township. The caller said an unknown party came to their residence and offered to pave their driveway. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a motorcycle-deer crash report at CR 13 and 215th St., Cottonwood Township at 7:26 a.m. June 17. Casey Ohotto, 44, Hanska, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. No more information was available.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle at 1:13 a.m. June 16 at 2nd St. N. and Jefferson. A 58-year-old man with New Ulm and Winthrop addresses refused to test for alcohol and was arrested. A report with charges of second-degree test refusal and driving after license revocation were sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office. Vehicle plates were taken and the vehicle was impounded.

• A 46-year-old New Ulm man was cited for no Minnesota driver’s license and driving an unregistered minibike at 1:39 p.m. June 16 at 801 Center. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a motor-daughter harassment call involving a 23-year-old female at 226 N. State at 2:44 p.m. June 16. No more information was available.

• Responded to a domestic call at 3:12p.m. June 16 at on the 100 block South Minnesota Street. No more information was available. A report was done for documentation.

• Responded to a lift assist call at 11:43 p.m.l June 16 on the 600 block 7th Street South. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services due to residence living conditions.

• Received a stolen bicycle report at 1513 N. Payne St. at 6:24 p.m. June 17. A black boys bike with a broken left handlebar was reported stolen June 15. A report was done for documentation.
