New Ulm Police

• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 3:20 p.m. Monday at North Highland Ave. and Oak Street. Derek R. Wendland, 42, New Ulm, was driving a 2018 Toyota southbound in a roundabout, slid on ice, hitting James M. Bodine, 67, New Ulm, who was westbound driving a 2019 Ford. Damage was moderate to the front end of the Toyota and moderate to the right rear of the Ford.

• Arrested a 49-year-old New Ulm man for a Brown County probation violation at 8:27 a.m. Monday at the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division.

• Transported a 26-year-old New Ulm man to the New Ulm Medical Center at 1:10 a.m. Sunday. The man made suicidal comments and had a hand injury. He was later medically cleared and transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center Detox Division and placed on hold for a Nicollet County warrant.
