New Ulm Police

• Received a burglary report from Tower Storage, 211 Tower Rd. at 12:53 p.m. Sunday. Stolen items included DeWalt power tools and other items, some of which were found in nearby grassy area. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a vehicle vandalism report on the 800 block State St. N. at 8:27 a.m. Sunday. Two vehicle windshields were smashed overnight. Damage was estimated at $969. A report was sent to investigators.

• Received a hit and run crash report on the 1400 block, Minnesota St. N. at 7:53 p.m. Saturday. A vehicle driver’s side mirror was hit while the vehicle was parked overnight. A report was done for documentation.

• Stopped a vehicle at Karl Dr. and Garden St. N. for window tint at 10:49 pm.. Friday. A 20-year-old Morton male was cited for illegal window tint. A 19-year-old Morgan male was cited for small amount of marijuana possession and a 20-year-old Morgan female was cited for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.

• Received animal complaints on the 300 block of Linden St. at 5:42 p.m. Friday. A resident with five dogs was warned to comply with an ordinance allowing no more than three dogs. A report was sent to the animal control officer.

• Stopped a 68-year-old Courtland man at at Front St. N. and 12th St. N. at 1:04 a.m. Tuesday for driving without a valid driver’s license. The man was cited for driving after revocation, no proof of vehicle insurance, expired registration and unlawful use of license plates. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a 42-year-old New Ulm woman on the 1500 block of State St. N. having a mental health crisis. A report will be sent to Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a welfare check on a 70-year-old New Ulm man the 800 block of German St. N. Officers found unsuitable living conditions. The man refused medical treatment or transport to New Ulm Medical Center. A report will be sent to Brown County Human Services.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Responded to a verbal domestic call on the 800 block Water St. S.W. at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday involving 11 and 15-year-olds. Nobody was hurt, no damage reported. Reports went to Brown County Human Services.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday on CSAH 46 near CSAH 8. Leroy S. Brown, 33, Kansas City, Mo., was driving a 2019 International truck owned by Suntrust Equipment Finance and Leaving westbound on CSAH 46, lost control on a curve and turned on its side. Brown was trapped but bystanders got him out. He was transported to the Redwood Falls hospital with possible injuries. The truck was disabled due to damage.

McLeod County Sheriff’s Office

• Talked to an individual in the lobby at 2:35 a.m. Saturday regarding a domestic. As a result, Megan Moeller, 44, Brownton, was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe. Deputies cleared with reports.

• Responded to a barn fire on 30th Street south of Brownton at 2:41 p.m. Monday. The fire was extinguished. New Auburn and Brownton Fire Departments and Allina Ambulance assisted. Deputies cleared with a report.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to school bus-horse crash on TH 19 at 361st Avenue about six miles west of Henderson at 9:04 p.m. Oct. 19. Ronald Otto, 70, Arlington, was transporting the Sibley East High School girls volleyball team when he hit a horse that died of injuries. No injuries were reported on the bus that was moderately damaged. The Minnesota State Patrol and Henderson Fire Dept. assisted.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on TH 60 at 790th Avenue, Rosendale Township, Watonwan County at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday. John H. Orth, 55, St. Paul Park was driving a 2017 Peterbilt semi tractor westbound on TH 60 when it collided with at 2005 Buick Terraza driven by Helen M. Lueck, 85, Fairmont, who entered the westbound lanes from 790th Avenue. The semi rolled over in the median. Lueck and passenger, Roger W. Lueck, 87, Fairmont, and Orth were transported to a St. James hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Orth wore a seat belt. It was unknown if the Lueck wore seat belts. Madelia Police, Fire and EMS and the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office assisted. Alcohol was not involved.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 14 at Jade Avenue, Lamberton Township, Redwood County at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday. Gary P. Zins, 64, Dundee was driving a 2012 International straight truck eastbound when he collided with a 2013 International straight truck driven by Donald R. Dunker, 59, Mountain Lake, who was also eastbound on Highway 14. Zins was transported to a Tracy hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office and Walnut Grove medical assisted. Alcohol was not involved.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 5:44 a.m. Wednesday on TH 30 at 840th Avenue, Antrim Township, Watonwan County. Gregory G. Wallace, 32, Fairmont, was westbound on TH 30 driving a 2007 Kia Sorrento when he lost control, left the road and crashed. He was transported to a Madelia hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It was unknown if he wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. The Watonwan County Sheriffs’ Dept. assisted.

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 6:57 a.m. Wednesday on TH 30, Madelia Township, Watonwan County. Seni B. Sadi, 26, Sioux Falls, S.D. was driving a 2020 International truck eastbound on TH 60 to go northbound on TH 15 when he lost control and rolled. He was transported to Madelia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. Madelia Police and Fire, the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance assisted.
